Unveiled a few months ago, BlackBerry 10 operating system is about to make its debut in Portugal. The new platform was introduced in Canada in early February and arrived in the UK a bit later.

Along with the new platform, BlackBerry has announced the upcoming availability of two smartphones powered by BlackBerry 10, the Z10 and Q10.

However, only BlackBerry Z10 is currently available on the market, whereas the Q10 is expected to join the former later this month.

Until then, BlackBerry fans in Portugal will be able to pick the first full-touch smartphone powered by BlackBerry 10, the Z10.

According to CrackBerry, the Z10 is now available for purchase via major carrier TMN for €590/$755 outright. Check it out here.

The bad news is that only the black version of BlackBerry Z10 is now available for purchase, but we suspect that the white color will arrive in Portugal as well.

Obviously, the smartphone ships with the latest version of BlackBerry 10 OS. The Z10 is equipped with a powerful 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon processor, an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

It also packs 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

As we have mentioned earlier, the Z10 is the first full-touch BlackBerry 10 device, as the phone sports a 4.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 768 x 1280 pixels resolution (355ppi).

There’s also an enhanced 8-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

Connectivity-wise, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, along with LTE, HSDPA (21Mbps) and HSUPA (5.76Mbps).

Last but not least, the Z10 is powered by a 1800 mAh Li-Ion battery, which should provide up to 310 hours of standby time or up to 10 hours of talk time.
