As expected, T-Mobile USA has confirmed that it will carry the BlackBerry Z10, the Canadian company’s first smartphone powered by BlackBerry 10 operating system.

Unfortunately, for the time being, the only information confirmed is the fact the Z10 will hit shelves at T-Mobile on March 26.

The information was published by the carrier on its official Twitter account, along with the promise that more details on the phone’s pricing options will be posted as soon as they have it.

Verizon and AT&T have already announced that the BlackBerry Z10 will be added to their portfolios later this month and that the phone will be available for purchase for $200/€155 with a new two-year agreement.

Customers who don’t want to be tied by a long-term contract will be able to grab the BlackBerry Z10 from Verizon for $600/€465 upfront.

However, AT&T will offer the Z10 for only $550/€425 outright, which is much better than the Big Red’s no-term deal.

Although there’s no telling what pricing options the Magenta will set up for the BlackBerry Z10, we expect that it will go on sale for as low as $200/€155 on two-year terms. The outright price is unknown, but should not be higher than Verizon’s.

The only major carrier in the United States that will not bring the BlackBerry Z10 to its customers is Sprint. The Now Network operator has been pretty clear about that and has announced that it will carry the BlackBerry Q10 instead.

Sadly, the BlackBerry Q10 won’t be available in the US for another month or so, which means that customers who are really anxious to grab a BlackBerry 10 device will turn to other carriers for the Z10.

Unless they prefer traditional BlackBerry smartphones with physical QWERTY keyboard and in that case, they will have to wait more than a month to be able to grab the Q10.
