Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion has just announced a series of details on the registrations for the BlackBerry DevCon Americas 2011 conference, which is set to take place between October 18-20th, 2011, in San Francisco.

The company announced that those who would like to participate would be able to enjoy an Early Bird Rate offering of only $699 USD as long as they register by August 26, 2011.

“We’re committed to making BlackBerry DEVCON Americas 2011 the biggest and best yet, and are excited to be offering great deals on our conference access, as well as alumni and hotel discounts,” RIM announced.

The regular rate is of $849 USD, while the Onsite Rate was set at $949 USD. Moreover, the company announced a student rate of $199 USD, along with a Faculty Member Rate of $399 USD. All these expire in October.

There is also the Registration & Hotel Bundle, which goes for $1,631.85 USD, and which includes a Full Conference Pass, and 4 nights at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis over the conference dates.

“Limited quantities available. Price will increase at the Early Bird Deadline, August 26, 2011 at 11:59pm EST,” the company notes.

Those who would like to participate at BlackBerry DevCon Americas 2011 should hurry up to benefit from the special deals that RIM put in place for those registering before August 26th.

Additional info on the pricing, along with specific details on registration and the like, are available on RIM's website here.

According to RIM, this year's BlackBerry DevCon Americas builds on the success of last year's conference, and adds a new series of features that would improve the experience developers receive from it, all based on the feedback received from those who participated before.

“One significant way we’ve implemented your feedback is that the conference is now three days instead of four – although we’ve kept the very best of the fourth day’s content in special community sessions throughout the event,” the company notes.
