Vodafone and Research In Motion released the BlackBerry Curve 8900 on the Spanish market for the carrier's customers. The handset comes with a next-generation processor (512 MHz), a great hi-resolution display, as well as with a nice set of features meant to allow users to always stay connected with their office, friends and family.

The new BlackBerry Curve 8900 also comes with features like email, messaging, organizer, web browser and multimedia applications, as well as with built-in GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity. The smartphone has been designed so as to enable users to remain connected, productive and entertained at all times.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 comes to Vodafone with a full-QWERTY keyboard along with an intuitive trackball providing both easy typing and navigation. The smartphone also includes a full-featured media player that delivers media streaming support. A 3.2-megapixel camera, with auto focus, digital zoom, flash and video recording capabilities is also present with the device, and users are enabled to post pictures on the Internet immediately after taking them. At the same time, there is also a microSD/SDHC memory card slot that can provide up to 16GB of expandable storage space.

The stylish smartphone measures 109 x 60 x 13.5 millimeters and weighs 110 grams, being the thinnest full QWERTY BlackBerry available at the moment. Moreover, its sleek and refined design makes the device feel great in your hands.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 comes with a 2.4-inch HVGA+ display that can deliver a 480×360 pixel resolution and vivid colors, while flexible connectivity is offered through its built-in Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g). Furthermore, the handset's GPS capabilities offer support for location-based services, whereas its GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequency standards offer fast access to web browsing and data transfer. The handset also features compatibility with the BlackBerry Internet Service and BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

The carrier announced that the BlackBerry Curve 8900 was available for a flat rate of 18€ per month with the BlackBerry Internet Service, offering users web connectivity, access to mail, instant messaging and social networks. More information on the handset is available on the operator's site.
