On a $60 per month plan

Wireless carrier MetroPCS Communications Inc. has just announced the launch of the BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone from Research In Motion. According to the company, the new mobile phone is available on its airwaves on a $60 per month plan, which includes unlimited talk, text, turn-by-turn GPS navigation, Web and data service, Wi-Fi connectivity, and e-mail. The carrier says that its customers would pay only half of what others pay, while receiving the same benefits.

The $60 BlackBerry service plan from MetroPCS sports increased value, in addition to offering all the features users would be looking for. Among the things included in the plan, we can count: - Messaging capabilities through popular IM services and BlackBerry Messenger, as well as social media networks - Access to the latest content such as games, ringtones and wallpapers through the @Metro App Store and BlackBerry App World - Applications only available through MetroPCS include Metro Navigator, Metro Back-up, Premium Directory Assistance and Metro Banking

Moreover, the carrier notes that its Wireless For All service plans come with increased flexibility and transparency. Customers won't be shocked by their monthly bills, not to mention that they can easily benefit from appealing devices and from affordable services, in addition to add-on features and applications that can match their lifestyles or habits.

As for what the new BlackBerry Curve 8530 has to offer, we can count a 320 x 240 pixel screen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, 256MB of Flash Memory, a 2-megapixel photo snapper, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, 3G capabilities, built-in GPS receiver, Bluetooth capabilities, access to the BlackBerry App World, Internet browser, and others more.
