Measuring 107 x 60 x 15.5 mm and weighing 111 grams, it comes as a small and lightweight business and multimedia device that offers lots of features to meet the needs of almost any user.

The handset packs a full QWERTY keyboard that enables easy text entry, a ultra-bright 320 x 240 pixels color display and a 2 Megapixels camera with 5x digital zoom and built-in flash. Other great features include intuitive user interface, intuitive call management, video and audio player with search capabilities and full-screen video playback, dedicated volume controls, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, miniUSB and microSD card support to expand the internal memory. Furthermore, the new device brings all the notable features common to the latest BlackBerry smartphones (push-email, high-performance HTML browser, Instant Messaging, MMS, organizer) as well as the ability to easily switch between GSM and Wi-Fi data networks.

"The BlackBerry Curve 8320 smartphone will offer Orange customers in Romania access to a powerful communications solution along with a suite of multimedia features for watching videos, capturing and sharing pictures, as well as listening to music," said Charmaine Eggberry, Vice President and Managing Director EMEA at RIM. "Coupling its industry-leading mobile applications with the ability to connect over Wi-Fi networks makes the BlackBerry Curve 8320 a compelling smartphone for Orange users across Romania."

"Orange is committed to providing the best selection of devices to ensure that our customer's wide-ranging needs are met, whether for the ability to connect to Wi-Fi services or the need to access email on the move. The addition of the BlackBerry Curve 8320 combines the features you'd expect from a BlackBerry smartphone along with a suite of multimedia features that should prove popular with Orange customers," said Ciprian Raglean, Business Division Manager at Orange Romania.
