NTT DOCOMO, INC has just announced that it plans on adding to its offering a new BlackBerry smartphone before the end of June, namely the BlackBerry Bold 9780.

Starting with June 29th, the carrier's customers will be able to purchase the new BlackBerry 6 OS-powered device, and those who would like to pre-order it can already do so through the wireless carrier's shops.

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone arrives on the wireless carrier's network with a wide range of features packed inside, as well as with great performance capabilities and an appealing design.

The handset comes with a light and compact design, while including the incredibly easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard that Research In Motion's Blackberry Bold devices come to the market with.

The specifications list of the new device also includes a 6-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with continuous auto focus, flash, scene modes, image stabilization, as well as with video recording capabilities.

Moreover, the handset offers users the possibility to easily share photos and more via email, BBM and social networks.

The handset also comes with appealing messaging capabilities, so that users can stay connected at all times with their friends and family over BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), or social networks like Facebook and Twitter,

“Using BlackBerry’s unique push technology, messages are automatically delivered from up to 10 supported email accounts, including i-mode mail and social networking messages,” the wireless carrier announced.

“BlackBerry 6 also allows users to create dedicated icons on the home screen for quick access to frequently visited web sites and favorite contacts.”

The mobile OS also comes with a fast WebKit-based browser for a great experience while surfing the Internet, expanded messaging capabilities, support for a wide range of applications available for download via the BlackBerry App World, and more.

“BlackBerry 6 delivers an approachable and engaging experience that’s powerful and easy to use. It includes a rich WebKit-based browser that renders HTML web pages quickly and beautifully for a great browsing experience,” the carrier notes.

“The browser offers fluid navigation using the handset’s optical trackpad, and includes tabs for accessing multiple sites simultaneously.”
