Alongside the silver and pink versions of LG Shine TU720, Rogers Wireless, Canada's largest mobile carrier, has just released a brand new and exclusive black edition of the fashionable phone.

For some unknown reason, Rogers is offering the black Shine for a higher price than its previous versions: 79.99 CAD (with a contract agreement for three years), while the silver and pink TU720s can be bought for only 29.99 CAD. But for those who want to be different, the new price is probably worth it.

The features of Shine TU720 in black remain unchanged: a 2.2 inch TFT mirror-like display with 240 x 320 pixels and 64K colors, quad-band GSM connectivity and HSDPA for data transfer speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, stereo Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP, Music player (MP3, AAC+) Video player (MP4, 3GP, H.263, H.264 and Real Video formats) USB (cable included in the box) and a 2 Megapixel camera with flash and video recording (up to 15 fps).

As the pink and the silver versions of Shine, the black one comes with 70 MB of internal memory and a 512MB card in the package. The respective card can be changed with another one, of up to (only) 1GB.

The Shine TU72 weighs 119 grams and, when not open, it measures 100 x 50.5 x 15 millimeters. Its battery is a 900 mAh one that should keep it going for up to 3 hours in talk-time mode or up to 250 hours in stand-by mode.

If the black LG Shine TU72 looks nice to you and buying it is the very next thing you intend to do, the phone can be found on Rogers' official website. The handset is probably also out via the Canadian carrier's retail stores, so you might want to pay a visit to one of them too.
