Now, bearing in mind that you can purchase the slate from Lenovo’s official website for $99 / €74, the discount isn't that dramatic, but it’s still something to consider.
As a quick reminder, so you know what you’re getting yourself into here, the IdeaTab A1000 features a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It comes bundled with an MTK 8317 dual-core Cortex-A9 MCU processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The slate runs Android 4.1 out of the box and has 8GB of internal storage. You won’t be able to achieve great things with it, but it will certainly make for a good couch companion.
