If you have heard of Leica, you probably know the photography equipment manufacturer is pretty famous in photo circles for putting out uber expensive limited edition cameras, appealing to the most refined.

Well their latest partnership will certainly blow your mind a little, because there’s no way you could have predicted that. Not in a long shot.

According to new information, famous camera brand Leica has teamed up with popular Japanese cat Hello Kitty and adult entertainment provider Playboy to bring out the latest limited edition Leica C camera.

It’s definitely a super-bizarre mélange, mixing the adorable pink and virtually harmless kitty cat with the steamy and audacious Playboy brand. Unless Leica is trying to suggest Playboy drops its bunnies and takes up kitties instead.

The Leica C is virtually a re-branded Panasonic LF1 camera, with a Hello Kitty stamped in front. There’s a twist, however, the cat is seductively winking at us and boasts a couple of bunny ears, too. Creepy.

The camera is already up for order on French clothing store Collete for an “offensive” $1,264 / €920 a pop, which is double the Panasonic equivalent. The camera has a black body and is reportedly limited to just 10 copies. What do you think of this spin on cute-attractive?
