Capable of delivering both high airflow and high pressure

BitFenix may not be as old as other companies out there, but that doesn't mean its founders are new at this, as they decided to make more than clear with the Spectre Pro Performance Fan Series.

Case fans may not be as critical as the coolers of CPUs and graphics cards, but they definitely have a role in high-end desktops and even mainstream ones.

The newcomers from BitFenix are definitely high-end products and superior to the Spectre Silent Fan Series revealed in August.

“After we released the Spectre Series last year, users looking primarily for a silent build were floored at just how good silent fans can be,” says BitFenix Product Manager David Jarlestedt.

“Now with the many unique features and design elements that we've implemented into Spectre Pro, I believe that the performance crowd is going to be even more impressed.”

Representing “the new gold standard” in case fans, the BitFenix products utilize the FDB (fluid dynamic bearing) technology.

This gives them a silent operation and a long life as well, which is more than relevant, given that, as high-end spinners, they are primarily focused on airflow and pressure.

Their maker made sure they were lacking in neither area, and that goes for all the available sizes (120, 140, 200, and 230mm).

Not only will the heat be dispersed, but BitFenix even states that the pressure will be enough to make life easier for even watercooled computers.

Furthermore, the Spectre pro LED case fans have LED lights to testify for their abilities.

Each Spectre Pro LED fan has a LED of the same color as the inner frame and, thanks to the reinforced fan blades that don't warp, shine well and clearly at all times.

Finally, these LEDs can be turned on or off via an on-the-fly switch available on all BitFenix cases and some accessories as well. Go to the Spectre Pro and Spectre Pro LED product pages for all the information (prices were not specified, alas).
