No artificial intelligence involved just yet, but nobody known what the future may hold

Robots have learned how to do a lot of things over the years, but the BitBot seems to be much wiser than them all as this was specially designed to play one of the most popular mobile games out there, Angry Birds.

To interact with the screen, the robot uses a retractable finger-like rod covered in some sort of synthetic material with the same properties as skin.

This makes the rod feel just like a human finger to the touchscreen, and enables a user, in this case BitBot's creator Jason Huggins to remotely play Angry Birds on a mobile device.

Why would anyone want to do such a thing is up for debate, but ultimately it seems like Huggins is planning to build a whole army of these things to test mobile applications.

And Huggins is certainly no novice in this field as he is the co-founder of Saucelabs, and the creator of Selenium, a portable framework for testing web applications.

When will this automated application will arrive you ask? Well, for the moment it still looks that we are far off from reaching this goal, but if a career in game testing is what you planned for your future, maybe is time to start searching for something else.
