Biostar hasn't introduced the Hi-Fi Z87X 3D Puro Hi-Fi motherboard yet, but that didn't stop Playwares from releasing some early photos of it.

The platform's name comes from the independent audio power design with built-in amplifier. It saves people form buying an add-in sound card.

The color scheme is black/blue and the overall design even tries to emulate audio waves in a way.

Meanwhile, the specs easily qualify the Hi-Fi Z87X for the high-end market, with 12 phase VRM, four memory slots (32 GB DDR3-2600 OC+ max), stability-enhancing components, three video ports (VGA, DVI, HDMI), Gigabit LAN, PS/2, etc.

There is a heatsink over the PCH as well, plus switches (below said heatsink) for Power On/Off, Reset and a Debug LED.

A Stainless shield cover lies over the Hi-Fi 3D Zone, to protect from EMI and other unwanted interfaces.
