Women looking for more support for the upper part of the body can choose from a variety of offerings, though the most reliable remains the now-traditional pushup brassiere. When having to deal on her own with sagging in the lower part of the body, after losing weight, California psychologist Dr. Karin Hart came up with an idea for a bra for the backside. Thus, the Biniki came to be.

Retailing for $32.95, the Biniki consists of two leg loops that are fixed on a waist strap. Each of these is adjustable to better fit the woman wearing the Biniki and is guaranteed to stay in place for the rest of the day. The result is an apparently firmer bum, with the advantage that the straps are not visible under most types of clothing. Even more, Dr. Hart has also designed a Biniki that can be worn under the bathing suit and one for the gentlemen, obviously called the Maniki.

“Biniki is an invention developed to lift and define the derriere, smooth out the backs of the thighs and, in general, beautify the backside. Biniki consists of two leg loops that are attached at very specific points along the waist-hip band. The leg loops are designed to perfectly encircle the bottom. Once Biniki’s waist-hip bands is in place and the leg loops are self-adjusted to fit the individual, the skin on the backs of the thighs will lift up, the bottom will be raised and Biniki is guaranteed to stay in place,” Dr. Hart says of how her creation works on the official webpage.

“Biniki is capable of emphasizing smaller, flatter derrieres, enhancing the silhouette with or without clothes and will bring a new sense of confidence about how one looks in back. People with small or flat bottoms benefit greatly from this shape wear. Biniki cannot be detected under most clothes and can be worn low on the hips. In other words, Biniki provides bra-type support and comfort for the ‘other’ side. This is an option that has been too long missing from the marketplace,” the creator of the Biniki further says.

Ladies and gents looking for more support in the backside can order this unlikely bra (but that is reportedly very efficient in creating the impression of a firmer bum) on Dr. Hart’s website. At this point in time, she is also looking for a European distributor with the view of bringing the Biniki in shops. On the other hand, those who want to look firmer in the back can actually get like that by simply working out more (walking up and down stairs is ideal for that), skeptics point out.
