New enhancements just introduced to Bing will make it simpler for users to decide on specific travel destinations as well as hotels.

Search engines are more often than not a traveller’s best friend, companion, local guide, restaurant critic, etc.

Microsoft has kicked up a notch Bing’s travel vertical, in a move designed to refresh the destination and hotel pages, announcing a new Bing Feature Update rolled out over the weekend.

Users turning to Bing Travel to plan their next trip will undoubtedly notice the improvements which simplify their decisions when it comes to selecting the best hotel possible, or one city over another.

“We are updating our destination pages allowing travelers to compare multiple destinations in one view. Visiting Florida on your next vacation but not sure which cities are a must-visit?

“Compare multiple destinations on just one page with images, flights, hotels, weather, attractions, events, videos and more for each city,” revealed Kelli Stuckart, Bing Travel.

On Bing Travel, customers can simply hover the mouse over the destination listed in order to select cities to compare.

Of course, as soon as they picked a specific city, travellers will need to deal with all the details related to accommodations.

Fortunately enough, the latest Bing feature update introduced will also come in handy in this regard.

“Also new are updates to our hotel pages, bringing together all the best hotel information across Bing into one experience.

“Find a hotel rate, maps, nearby attractions and businesses, user reviews, images and descriptions all on one page. You’ll also find our Rate Indicator, which tells you whether the hotel rate is a deal or not.

“To check out hotel updates: run a hotel search on your favorite city from the Travel homepage. Click on the name of the hotel to view detailed descriptions and decide where to stay,” Stuckart explained.
