Billings is a Mac app focused on sending professional invoices. Released on the market on September 18, the app features a clean UI and 30 professionally designed templates, complementing its "five minutes to your first professional invoice" promise. - Improved Daylite integration. - Added the ability to backup the database when quitting the application. Options are in the General Preferences pane. - Added keys to the report engine for client such as prefix, suffix, first name, last name, middle name, and formal full name, which is all of these as one. - Added the ability to link to a contact in Address Book (rather than just being able to restore) when you click the lightning bolt icon to resolve an unlinked client. - Added a My Eyes Only query to the All Slips view. - Added "Unbilled Clients" and a basic "Quantities" reports. - Added rate, taxes and total columns to "Mileage Report." - Significantly improved rendering speed for many invoice/estimate/statement templates.
According to Marketcircle's CEO, Alykhan Jetha, the Billings "Main Street" sale continues, “giving small business a break - 20 bucks at a time.” Until November 30, 2008, Billings sells for US $39.95 instead of $59.95, and the upgrade sells for US $25 instead of $35.
