14 DAY TRIAL // Even though he’s the best selling artist of his generation, Justin Bieber is still having a hard time convincing critics and non-fans that he’s more than just a manufactured pop star, or so his speech at the Billboard Music Awards 2013 would indicate.

Justin won the Milestone Award (voted by fans), and beat Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift to the punch.
As you can see, Justin also got a hefty share of booing with the cheering during the acceptance speech, but neither seemed to faze him, even though he had to wait for both to die down before he could say anything.
He spoke about being an artist, about how “this should be all about the music and the craft,” how “none of that bull” should matter besides the artistry, and thanked his fans and his family.
