Ghostbusters has been a very nice film franchise. With the likes of Bill Murray or Dan Aykroyd in the cast of the two movies, it definitely became a favorite with the fans, those who are the target of the new Ghostbusters game currently in development. Promising to bring the excitement and amusement from the movies into a pleasant gaming experience, the title is now looking for a publisher. In order to develop this game, the creators pulled out all the tricks and got the original actors to do the voices for the characters in the game. During the promotion of his new film City of Ember, Bill Murray declared that the experience was very exciting and brought back fond memories. Such pleasant memories that he doesn't exclude a new movie for the much beloved franchise.

“[Murray] also went on to say that his enthusiasm for Ghostbusters was heightened after recording the voice of Peter Venkman for the video game over the summer. In fact, he said he found himself walking down the street singing the Ghostbusters theme song and then thought people walking around him were going to start yelling at him to 'get over yourself, Bill,' so he stopped… But the enthusiasm was there,” reveals the site Ain't It Cool News.

That's definitely great news because while there have been rumors of a third Ghostbusters title going around almost all the time since the completion of the second movie in 1989, Bill Murray was against it. But now, it seems that this experience was the spark that reignited his interest in the franchise.

All in all, for loads of fans all over the world, this piece of information is great. They have been waiting for a another sequel for a long time, and now, the light at the end of the tunnel is within reach.
