Only in China

Believe it or not, Bill Gates' sperm is far juicier than what David Beckham and Brad Pitt have to offer. Sure, being an internationally renowned football star, married to a former British pop icon does have its benefits, and translates into top spermatozoon in the fan's perspective. And indeed, a global movie star which managed to get Angelina Jolie to give birth to his offspring is also an indication of some prime quality sperm. But neither David Beckham nor Brad Pitt can measure up to Microsoft's Co-Founder and Chairman Bill Gates.

No less than 1,000 women in China participated in a survey conducted by Self magazine, as China Daily is reporting. The study focused on determining which men are most eligible to father Chinese babies with women aged from 25 to 35. Participants from no less than 15 cities around China preferred Bill Gates to David Beckham and Brad Pitt.

But one notable absence from the top ten perfect sperm carriers for Chinese women is of course Apple Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs. China is all about Microsoft, and all about Bill Gates. And the Microsoft Chairman which is currently transitioning out of his day to day role with the Redmond company has immensely more chances to spread his genes across China than David Beckham, Brad Pitt and Steve Jobs have.

In the top 10 rating for the best semen worldwide, Bill Gates is only topped by Hong Kong entertainer Andy Lau. Bill is currently married with Melinda Gates, and I am sure that while he will find the top 10 flattering, his wife might disagree. Still, being nominated as the second best potential sperm provider for China is without a doubt a vote of confidence and admiration for Gates. Bill has stated in the past that he considers Asia to be the birthplace of the next Bill Gates, but now, he could actually get involved in the "production" process. Chinese women said that chances are pretty high that Gates' sperm would be welcomed with a consistent level of demand.
