A study carried out by a group of researchers calling themselves the “Sasquatch Genome Project” aims to prove that Bigfoot is real, using video footage and DNA proof.

Dr. Melba Ketchum, a genetics scientist heading the project, explains that “the furry people” are a mix between human and beast.

In February, they have performed a study funded by businessman Adrian Erickson and they have invested $500,000 (€370,000) in the project.

“We think it is human-hybrid. That is our theory. [...]” she says, referring to the February “Sasquatch Genome Project” inquiry.

The scientists believe that thousands of these furry beings are currently living in United States, according to CBS 11.

Ketchum held a press conference in Dallas on Tuesday, revealing photos and videos of the elusive Sasquatch.
