For cyclists, any extra weight is a burden, even their mobile phones. SoundOfMotion combines these two devices for making their interaction convenient for their users.

The second version of SoundOfMotion bicycle computer is especially designed for mobile phones. With this, cyclists now are able to have even more useful features packed up in their handsets.

Mobile Bicycle Computer uses Bluetooth in order to wirelessly connect to a sensor which is attached to the bicycle's wheel. This allows users to answer calls, listen to music with a 250 times increased accuracy than in previous cycling computers.

The Mobile Bicycle Computer comes with several interesting features included, which is meant to make it even more appealing. The number of injuries and accidents which take place each year between cars or pedestrians and cyclists is quite large. In order to prevent such things to happen, Mobile Bicycle Computer also includes a sound simulator as an extra safety feature. Depending on the speed that the user is currently going with, the device generates a sound similar to that of a motorbike, Steam train or horse. One can even choose from more sounds available, according to the user's wishes.

Both pedestrians and cyclists are often in great danger because of the fact that bicycles do not produce sound and, for this reason, are often unnoticed. "Hybrid cars are notoriously known to tangle with pedestrians and cyclists because of their silent electrical engines. As a hybrid driver, I constantly notice people crossing the street right in front of my car without realizing that car is moving", says Vladimir Savchenko, the founder of this technology.

SoundOfMotion 2.0 runs on all Java-enabled mobile phones and is currently available on the North American and Canadian market. The Mobile Bicycle Computer can be purchased for the total price of USD 70.
