It seems that, these days, Beyonce is getting a lot of media attention for things that don’t really have anything to do with her music or her business endeavors. Now on the road with the Mrs. Carter World Tour, Beyonce is making some insane tour demands, it has emerged.

Granted, a star of her caliber is accustomed to the finest in life but, as these things go, whenever word of a celebrity’s demands for backstage gets out online, people start paying close attention.

For instance, Beyonce requires only red toilet paper in her trailer, The Daily Caller writes citing reports in the British media.

While this sounds somehow divalicious of her to ask, the fact that she also wants a new toilet seat installed at each venue she performs makes sense.

Beyonce also wants her dressing room to be painted off-white, the report says. This too seems pretty tame, but not the same goes for what comes next.

“The singer requires $900 [€682.8] worth of titanium drinking straws ‘which will be used to drink a special alkaline water that’s served at exactly 21 degrees’,” The Daily Caller writes.

“A hand-carved ice ball is to be presented to her at the end of every concert for her to suck on to protect her vocal chords,” adds the report.

All her concert outfits must be 100 percent cotton and no one from her crew, be they dancers or stagehands, are allowed junk food backstage.

Admittedly, Beyonce has banned all junk food or unhealthy treats around her, and will only allow her people fruit, raw vegetables, oatcakes and almonds for snacks.

As any celebrity gossip lover must know, such tour demands are not uncommon with the pop elite.

Madonna, for instance, is said to have the same toilet standards as Beyonce (minus the red toilet paper), while Mariah Carey is impossible to deal with, allegedly.

Word has it that Jennifer Lopez is also a major diva, and won’t even allow her people to look at her – and they must only speak when spoken to.
