14 DAY TRIAL // Beyonce and Jay Z’s marriage is almost over because they’re too busy with their respective tours, it has emerged. The two superstars are said to be struggling to save whatever is left of their marriage but, for the time being, it isn’t paying off.
Star magazine claims in its latest print issue (story via CB) that Beyonce has been feeling “like a single mother” in recent months, because Jay is either away on work or he’s clubbing. Earlier this month, he flew to Australia to spend some time with her and their daughter Blue Ivy, in what the tab describes as one final attempt at saving their marriage.
Admittedly, the rapper had let his wife understand that he’d be joining her on tour once he was done touring with Justin Timberlake as well but, instead of doing that, he extended his tour to Europe.
Spending that much time apart is only making already existent problems worse, the magazine claims, saying the damage is, by the looks of it, “irreparable.”
“Beyonce flipped… [when she found out about the European tour plans] not only did he plan the tour without consulting her at all, but he didn’t even try to coordinate dates with her tour. She told him he was selfish,” an insider reveals.
That only added to the stress already existing in their relationship. Beyonce has “been letting him know that he’s on very shaky ground. She even told him that she’s using the time they spend apart as a trial separation. The threat scared Jay. But though he’s tried to woo her with mini-vacations in Italy and Paris during breaks in their touring schedules, Beyonce still feels that he was putting his music career first and their family second,” Star claims.
The fact that he’s all of a sudden fond of clubbing is what’s undoing his efforts to win Beyonce back, another insider claims for the same media outlet. She’s even accused him of using the tour as an excuse to go out and party like he’s single and responsibility-free.
