When money is not an issue, only sky is the limit when it comes to possibilities to treat oneself. On that magical night between the years, Beyonce opted to get a luxury spa treatment with daughter Blue Ivy Carter, which cost an estimated $4,928 (€3,617).

Before she hit the party circuit with her husband Jay Z, Beyonce reportedly checked in at the Hotel Victor in Miami and booked a session of the Evian water bath, together with her 2-year-old daughter.

Half of the impressive amount mentioned above was the fee for the hotel room for the night; the other half being the price she paid to soak around in a huge bathtub filled with nothing but Evian, the Daily Mail says, citing reports in the British media.

“The spa procedure, said to be favored by such health-seeking stars as Britney Spears and Serena Williams, involves some 1,000 liters of twice-purified Evian water filling the guest's colossal-sized tub. Special Gerbera daisies are scattered in the tub while scented candles are then lit for a totally immersive sensory experience,” the tab writes.

Apparently, this special (and absolutely shamelessly expensive) bath helps to purify the senses and revitalize the skin. Beyonce brought Blue Ivy along because she wanted to spend a bit more time with her and share this amazing experience.

“A source told the magazine that for Beyonce's NYE bath-time with baby she ‘also had a platter of smoked salmon lollipops and a dessert plate called the Seven Sins of Chocolate’,” the Mail further says.

Beyonce and Jay Z have been, for several years in a row, one of the highest selling recording artists around so there’s no question that they can definitely afford to spend this kind of money on such an eccentric spa treatment.

However, with reports like this one making the rounds, it’s difficult to take them seriously afterwards, whenever they lend their name and voice to a noble cause: like when Jay Z joined the Occupy movement, or when Beyonce spoke about the poverty women live in because gender equality is nothing but a myth.
