As expected, Queen Bey is dropping videos teased on the “visual album” Beyonce

Beyonce released her fifth studio album, “Beyonce,” as a “visual album,” including on it snippets from 17 music videos. Well, two of them have just dropped and, as I’m sure fans will agree, they were definitely worth the wait.

The first video is for “XO,” and is embedded above. It was shot at Brooklyn’s Coney Island and Beyonce almost didn’t get away with making it and keeping it a secret because she made plenty of headlines at the time she shot it for causing chaos at the park.

However, when the days passed and no music video came, people stopped wondering why she’d been there, so the cat stayed safely in the bag.

The second video is for the song “Drunk in Love,” which is actually a collaboration with husband Jay Z, and is more audacious in sound. It’s also bolder visually, closer to what I imagine Kanye West wanted to achieve with his “Bound 2” video with Kim Kardashian.

He failed, but Bey doesn’t. *Please note that some discretion is recommended when watching the video below, because of images and language that might offend.

Beyonce’s “Beyonce” album has proved a real winner, selling over 820,000 copies on the iTunes Store in just 3 days. If you need further confirmation of how much of a winner it is, I believe these 2 videos should offer it to you.
