If you thought that Beyonce's surprise full album drop on iTunes was a big thing, wait until you hear about how much material “Queen Bey” had raked up since her last album was released.

In a recent video on YouTube about the creative process behind her current album, Beyonce reveals that she had in excess of 80 songs ready, but she ended up with the present 14.

“When I started picking the songs that I gravitated towards, because I recorded about 80 songs, it was the songs that were more effortless to me that stuck around,” Beyonce explains. It looks as though she had enough songs to release at least five or six more full albums, but maybe they'll make the next album.

The rest of the video shows the recording of the hit songs “Drunk in Love” featuring the rapping skills of husband Jay Z and the musical talents of producer Timbaland.

It seems the whole process was more like a party than actual work “Jay went in and he started flowing out his verse. We just kinda had a party. It wasn't about any ego, we weren't trying to make a hit record. We were just having fun, and I think you can hear that in the record,” Beyonce says.
