The most famous pregnant woman in the world, who recently became the most famous mommy of the most famous baby, is finally speaking out on the experience. Beyonce gushes about her daughter Blue Ivy Carter in a first interview since giving birth.

Just a week after giving birth to her and Jay-Z's first child, Beyonce is speaking out about the experience – and even addresses some of the controversy around her stay in hospital.

As we also noted on previous occasions, women at the NYC hospital where Beyonce gave birth told the press that security around her was so tight that not even their husbands were allowed in the ward to see their own babies.

That, coupled with talk of how Bey and Jay spent a fortune for “exclusivity” at the hospital, caused quite a lot of outrage as to how they were treated preferentially just because they happen to be rich.

In the new interview (cited by AceShowbiz), the singer puts rumors to rest, stressing that the boosted security was a necessity and not a whim.

“It wasn't the case,” she says of ongoing rumors about how they practically had the entire ward for themselves, putting other new mommies at risk.

“As usual, certain things have been made up or exaggerated but that seemed to be the story of the pregnancy,” Beyonce says.

“Security was very tight but not just for the sake of it. It was for the security of our daughter - that was always the most important thing and everybody involved made it such a safe and smooth process,” she adds.

Granted, thinking about how much a photo of the newborn or the new mommy would have sold for, it's no wonder she and Jay did all in their power to prevent the paparazzi from getting inside the hospital.

As for how Beyonce would describe the moment she held her daughter in her arms, she says there's really nothing to compare the experience to.

“Nothing can describe the feeling. You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can't be found,” she gushes.

“At home, she'll be part of a normal, loving family with a loving mom, a loving dad, a loving aunt and loving grandparents, just like any other kid,” Beyonce says, referring to whether Blue Ivy will be spoilt rotten.

In the same interview, the diva reveals that Jay-Z has already started changing diapers.
