Tracks can be bought for $0.99 per song

P. Diddy will become synonymous with the unveiling of the Best Buy Digital Music Store, as the digital music service will debut on the musical notes of an exclusive track from the American rapper's latest album "Press Play." After scraping an existing deal with Napster, BestBuy has revealed via a press release the inking of a partnership with RealNetworks and SanDisk over the creation of the Best Buy Digital Music Store powered by the Rhapsody 4.0 music service and pushing the Sansa e200R Rhapsody MP3 players.

"Our goal is to deliver entertainment to our customers how, when and where they want it, and to help them have the best possible experience," said Jennifer Schaidler, vice president of music for Best Buy. "The Best Buy Digital Music Store and Sansa e200R Rhapsody are part of that goal allowing us to provide an end-to-end digital music solution that will deliver unique content and a premium customer experience. Whether they want to purchase downloads or a subscription and have access to all the music, we're giving consumers the ability to enjoy entertainment on their terms."

The Best Buy Digital Music Store will deliver two purchasing options. Tracks will be offered individually for $0.99 pet item but the service also features a subscription option with unlimited music access for $14.99 per month.
