Bent Pixels, a company publishing innovative games and software for iPhone and iPod touch, Google Android, Blackberry and other platforms, has announced two iPhone apps, one of which has already been approved by Apple in the App Store.

Aqueous is an application aimed at relaxation. As Bent Pixels itself says, “Run your fingers thru the calming water, tilt your iPhone and a relaxing water wall transforms your day. Create your own perfect acoustic environment that will transport you off into a state of unparallel relaxation. With high fidelity stereo audio and HD quality water simulation, Aqueous is in its own class for the iPhone. Allow this soothing application to lull you sleep, enhance your meditation or simply dial your world down.”

Antimite, Bent Pixels’ second iPhone app, is totally different. Described as an addictive, hilarious game where players use the iPhone accelerometer to crush as many mites in the allotted time, the title is yet to be approved by Apple in the iTunes App Store. “Creative game maps from us and minimal brain function from you will keep you coming back for more. Antimite is the perfect quick-gaming fix,” Bent Pixels promises.

As noted above, the company is a preeminent publisher of innovative games and software for iPhone and iPod touch, Google Android, Blackberry and other NUI (natural user interface) technologies, headquartered in the US. “Our mission is to develop, market and promote innovative apps and entertaining games that are of the highest quality,” the company’s description reads.

“Bent Pixels draws upon an incredible pool of local talent in entertainment, design and sound but also partners with developers from around the globe. The team at Bent Pixels is talent rich and brings over 12 years of sales, marketing and promotion expertise to the table,” the company adds.
