A middle-end, but fresh-looking music phone

Don't confound the BenQ C30 and the producer's digital camera model. This is actually the latest mobile phone that it has released, bearing the same name as their older product that bears nothing else in common with this new one.

BenQ C30 is clearly a multimedia phone. This is easy to spot right from the handset's design, as it is lively and modern. It also includes some orange lines around the camera which strengthen the handset's lines, a color which is now instantly associated with music phones, as Sony Ericsson has set the trend for some time now.

The phone is a middle-end one, packing only the lowest performances, despite its promising design. BenQ C30 comes equipped with a VGA camera that will manage to take captures of only the lowest possible quality. It's still useful in some situations to have such a feature at hand, but it's only the most basic one that mobile phones can provide.

There is no specification concerning this phone's internal memory or the support for a microSD card to increase the default one. This should be a pretty important feature, especially when considering the fact that BenQ C30 considers itself to be, first of all, a music phone.

Probably the most appealing feature about this phone is the fact that it also includes some easy access top keys, also covered in an orange color. This should make it easy to manage the current playlist right from the pocket, without having to pull out the phone every time. There is also a dedicated button for the camera, one that many other phone models bring without calling it revolutionary and paint it orange.

The fact that BenQ C30 runs on a 00/1800MHz dual-band GSM makes it best suitable for a future release in Asia and Europe. The producer has made no official statement on when this should happen or the price that this device should have on its release.
