Ben 10 is one of the most loved properties of Cartoon Network and it only makes sense for the company to try and profit from this popularity by moving the characters of the series to the videogame medium. D3Publisher and developer 1st Playable Productions and Monkey Bar Games are offering more details on the upcoming game.

The story is set five years after Ben, as the protector of the Earth, first saved humanity from the alien invaders. Now, he must dust off the Omnitrix, which scrambles DNA, and face the alien threat again.

Ben 10: Alien Force aims to provide a lot of variation by allowing gamers to play as a variety of characters, from Ben's cousin Gwen to Kevin Levin, an alien which now fights alongside the heroes of the Earth. Ben himself is getting more alien forms, like Swampfire, Jet Ray, Humungousaur, Spidermonkey or Big Chill, that he can use against the aliens.

The game aims to blend the new with the familiar by offering both locations seen in the best episodes of the animated series and new places that will give players a chance to really explore and see something weird and interesting. There will be more than 20 enemies that players can face and 75 types of attacks that the various characters can perform.

On the PlayStation 2 and on the Nintendo Wii, gamers will have a chance to experience Ben 10: Alien Force in co op. The Nintendo DS version is set to also have some exclusive offerings, allowing gamers to play as the alien forms called Goop, Echo Echo and Chromastone.

The title will be coming to the Wii, the PS2, the PlayStation Portable and the Nintendo DS on February 13. Be sure to help Ben 10 take out the aliens which threaten the Earth!
