Canadian mobile phone carrier Bell Mobility has added a new Android-based mobile phone to its offering, namely the HTC Sensation 4G, available for purchase starting today with a price tag of $549.95 attached to it if purchased contract free. The handset was announced as being on its way to the Canadian market via Bell a while ago, but no specific info on its availability and pricing has emerged until now.

Those who would like to acquire the new mobile phone from Bell now have the possibility to do so either with the aforementioned contract-free option included into the mix, or by selecting a monthly contract deal.

Thus, the HTC Sensation 4G will be yours for $149.95 with the signing of a three-year agreement, for $499.95 if you chose a two-year contract, or for $524.95 with one-year deals.

The HTC Sensation was unveiled to the world a few months ago with Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system on board, and with a wide range of high-end features.

It is one of the most powerful smartphones in the world, courtesy of a fast 1.2GHz dual-core application processor inside, complemented by 768MB of RAM.

“The HTC Sensation 4G has it all: a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, stunning 4.3" qHD screen, 1080p camcorder and 8 megapixel camera with Video Graphics Array (VGA),” the wireless carrier notes on its website.

“Plus, it runs at super-fast 4G speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps. It's the sleekest device with HTC Sense technology that makes it truly the most user-friendly superphone.”

HTC Sensation came to the market with 1GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

It also comes with WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, as well as with built-in GPS receiver, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi hotspot with support for up to eight devices, and more.

The handset can record videos in full HD, and also comes with support for a wide range of Google services, as well as for applications available for download through the Android Market.
