If you have a special relationship (that is more than a professional one) with your laptop, then a Belkin bag is what you need. Belkin, an accessory maker, has recently launched three new holders for laptops, which are different from the ones we usually buy.

The best Belkin piece seems to be the Sling Bag, which is capable of holding laptops up to 15.4 inches in size, worn on a padded strap with a quick-release clip. Fast and furious clip.

At a first glimpse, a delicate pouch holds the cables and the power adaptor, while another compartment is used to hold your cellphone, Mp3 player or whatever.

The bags are available in two-color combinations, named "jet/cabernet" and "chocolate/tourmaline" by the Belkin manufacturers. If you think about purchasing one of these, you should first know that either version sports a $50 price tag, and can be ordered directly from the Belkin site. But those who need even more space for their precious laptops can try the Messenger Bags, which are ready to hold the 15.4 or 17 inch computers.

They also have padded straps, as well as the usual separate cable/adapter pouch, but no cellphone slot. As for the available color combination and the price tags, they are the same with the Slim Bag's, only the stupid color names differ, such as "dove/peony" and "dove/tarragon".

The Belkin laptop bags are made of a resistant material such as neoprene. And finally, a couple of sleeves are being marketed in 14", 15" and 17" sizes. They feature the same colors as the Messenger Bag, but the price is much more affordable, since a 14-inch sleeve is only $13 on the site, whereas as 15.4 inches is $30, and a 17-inche one costs $35.
