The Universal Serial Bus (more commonly known as USB) is by far the most popular computer interface nowadays, the number of devices that use it in order to connect to a PC being absolutely huge. However, the fact that the number of USB ports present on any computer is relatively limited led to the development of USB hubs, external devices that allow users to increase the number of devices that can connect to a single USB port.

And since two of the most important selling points in the case of any such hub are its looks and versatility, the Belkin company has decided to launch 3 new models that provide users with enhanced connectivity options in a very interesting and special form factor.

As Electronista informs us, the 3 items in question are the Swivel Hub, Clip-On Hub and Hub-to-Go. The first device is an ordinary 4-port USB 2.0 hub which has been fitted with a two-way swivel that rotates 180 degrees in order not to block the adjacent ports. Moreover, it comes with its own power supply, which means that it will be able to recharge any device connected to it.

The second model, the Clip-On Hub, is also a 4-port USB 2.0 hub, but sports an interesting mounting system which helps it grip to the edge of a surface (or a bunch of cables). Moreover, in order to facilitate the access, two of the ports are placed on the hub's top side and the device also comes with its own power supply.

Finally, the Hub-to-Go sports a whopping 7 USB 2.0 ports, out of which 4 ports can be detached and taken on the road, while the other 3 remain on the base (fixed on the desktop). Moreover, the detachable section of the hub features rotating connectors and the Hub-to-Go also comes with its own power supply.

According to the info provided by Electronista and PCWorld, the 3 new USB hubs from Belkin will hit the market in August, for around $29.99, $29.99 and $49.99 respectively, which, let's face it, are some pretty high price tags as far as USB go.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
