Be careful, students!

Boy, web-scammers are definitely smart! One of their tactics is to send spam-scam e-mails to a smaller public but to make it their perfect target. For example, everyone gets spammy messages about penis-enlargement pills or devices - even women do! That's why they have quite a small effectiveness. But what if a spammer could send his messages only to people who would be concerned about what they're advertising? Well, then the scam would be more lucrative, so this is why they're targeting students now. It's easy to get their e-mails - just hack into any university database and steal them.

Then what the scammer needs to do is think what students are most interested in. Well, I'm guessing that most students' interest involves sex, money, having fun, scholarships and other. So, what could a spammer offer via the Internet to make students interested and make a profit too? Well, it's scholarships and money!

A lot of scams are targeting students, as the Pittsburgh Live website informs. It's easy when you know what your targets want, that's why scammers try to trick students with fake loans, fake prizes and stuff like that. So, if you are a student and you are reading this, please take care - nobody makes you a great offer, just like that, out of the blue. Some people strive hard for years and years to get a scholarship - what are the chances that you who were just sitting at home, minding your own bees' wax get a great offer just like that? Close to zero! And if it comes through e-mail and it also says that first YOU have to pay THEM cash, then it has "scam" written all over it! So, when receiving an offer that seems too good to be true, no matter if it's on the web or in real life, be careful, as you might be targeted by a scam!
