Ozura Mobile, the Singapore-based mobile content developer and distributor, announced the upcoming release of "Beijing Dreams", a new mobile game that pays an homage to the 2008 Summer Olympics that will debut on August 8 in China's capital city.

Beijing Dreams will transform you into Lei Jiang, a young athlete wannabe who, in love with a special reporter, wants to impress her by participating in the Olympics. You and Lei will have to go through five sporting events: hurdles, 100 meters, long jump, high jump and triple jump. During the game, there are lots of locations to visit, including Beijing (obviously), Macao, Shanghai, Sichuan, Hunan, Inner Mongolia and even Tibet or the famous Forbidden City.

In case you're tired of competing only against humans, Beijing Dreams allows you to battle against panda bears (or at least that's what we can see in the available screenshots). For the sake of diversity, this is surely a cool aspect of the game.

H.E. Mah, Vice President of Marketing at Ozura, stated: "As the world's greatest sporting event draws near in Beijing, the market performance of sports games worth expecting, almost all of the leisure games with outstanding market performance in 2007 have something to do with sports. We are very excited about the expected impact of this game, and promise to deliver more fabulous sport games to gamers."

Beijing Dreams is the second sports-related game released by Ozura Mobile this summer, the first one being Counter Smash - an unusual take on badminton, announced at the beginning of June.

Ozura says that Beijing Dreams has lots of chances to be a hit when it comes to sport simulation games, so players who usually like these kinds of challenges should check it out. The game will be available soon, offered by operators and portals in various countries including the US, the UK, Germany, China and Vietnam.
