What better way to capture the incredible joy of a person eating chocolate than with a full joy explosion of colors, lights and confetti. This was the exact thought Cadbury had when they commissioned the “Cadbury Joy Jacket” to Hirsch&Mann, a company that makes all kinds of crazy and unique inventions.

The idea behind the unique clothing item is to capture the whole experience of one's taste-buds going crazy from the amazing chocolate. With this in mind, they hijacked a trench coat and transformed it into a manifestation of happiness that detects when the wearer is eating the sweet delight.

“The Joy Jackets commissioned by Cadbury contain ‘chocolate detention’ sensor technology to create a visual display and multi-sensory experience that amplifies the feeling of joy that comes from eating chocolate,” the team working on the jacket says on the official website.

The coat has a variety of gadgets meant to make it even more joyful with every bite of chocolate taken by the person dressed in the jacket. First, some parts of the coat light up when the sensor picks up chocolate traces, then it explodes in color and light with a special blinking system, placed right in the chest area to “visualize an excited heartbeat.”

After the colored heartbeat, hidden speakers start playing fanfare songs while the fabric of the jacket is moving to reveal the colored parts of it. The shoulder pieces of the clothing item start moving in a dance-like rhythm and colorful confetti starts puffing out from the back of the coat, all of this in an amazing display of joy.

No wonder everyone wearing the Cadbury Joy Jacket will be amazed by its function as only looking at it fills you with joy. The intent of amplifying a person's feeling of happiness while eating chocolate succeeded with flying colors and there’s no way you couldn't be amazed by what this jacket can do.
