Beats Electronics LLC, Beats for short, has formally launched a new set of headphones, one that can take phone calls, play music, skip songs and change volume wirelessly.

Called Studio Wireless Headphones, they are a fine-looking piece of work, colored black and featuring padded circumaural earcups.

The main asset is the Beats Acoustic Engine, but the Adaptive Noise Cancellation technology is almost as important, cleaning sound so that nothing ends up marring your experience.

Bluetooth establishes and maintains the connection to PCs, tablets, phones and other gadgets, while a rechargeable battery keeps you satisfied for 12 hours.

There's a cable too. If you use it, you can extend the battery life to 20 hours.

Sadly, the price of the newcomers is pretty high, at $379.95. That's around €283, assuming exchange rates are even relevant (chances are the tag will be of €379.95 instead).
