Romanian startup The Pole Society is preparing to unleash what could prove be the best way to reach any audience with your message. Their free iPhone app allows you to make a banner and whisk it over to a digital outdoor screen for the whole world to see.

Whether you want to promote your newly-opened business, or would like wish your girlfriend “Happy Birthday,” The Pole offers imaging tools for creating a catchy poster on your iPhone and share it with the world.

Currently, the free Pole app only allows you to upload posters for the community (i.e. users of the app), for things like events and parties, and such.

But come November 28, those posters will be viewable on outdoor displays, usually found on buildings, or inside various bars, according to The Pole Society.

The public testing initiative is scheduled to kick off on November 28, in Bucharest (Romania), when users will have 24 hours at their disposal to see their posters displayed on Phoenix Media screens around downtown Bucharest (aka The Old City, a place packed to the brim with pubs, clubs and bars).

The service will then gradually expand to cities like the crowded New York, and the glamorous Dubai (in early 2014).

No word from the developers on where The Pole will be impaled next, but if things go as planned, they’ll probably take on the entire globe.

When the service kicks into full gear, payments will be made via mobile with mobilPay MasterCard Mobile.

The Pole is said to be the first ever mobile-to-outdoor (DOOH) advertising solution that allows you to create a poster and stream it directly from your smartphone or tablet to digital outdoor screens.
