Gamers should also prepare for the first DLC

Battlefield Hardline has been out for a few days in both North America and in Europe, and the development team at Visceral Games and publisher Electronic Arts are saying that all gamers should be careful about the planned delivery schedule for Battlepacks, which they will be able to use to enhance their game experience.

Basically, all those who have the first-person shooter have a number of Gold packages in their possession as soon as they activate the title and will get more if they have the Deluxe Edition of the game, which will deliver more items each Friday, or the Premium membership, which brings one of them each month.

The official Help article has all the details, although the Electronic Arts support team could have made the information a little more clear.

Battlefield Hardline uses the Battlepacks to introduce some more content for gamers, but the developers have already explained that no competitive advantages will be included because they want to keep the multiplayer experience as balanced as possible.

In the new shooter, the progression system for characters is mostly focused on cash, which means that players can get access to almost any piece of hardware in the title as long as they have the money for it.

The system offers more flexibility and allows gamers to choose exactly how they want to approach the game and simply ignore items that would not give them any clear benefits.

Battlefield Hardline is getting four major DLC packs

Battlepacks are a nice way to introduce extra content for the most dedicated of fans, but the community will be more interested in getting access to regular title updates for Battlefield Hardline and to downloadable content packs for the experience.

At the moment, Visceral Games is collecting information from the community in order to deliver a big balancing patch, although no date or details about it have been offered.

The first piece of DLC is called Criminal Activity and is designed to introduce a range of new small missions that gamers can tackle.

There are three other packs that will be launched for Battlefield Hardline and the last of them is set to be introduced in 2016, which means that both Visceral Games and Electronic Arts will need to make sure that fans stay interested in the title for close to one full year.
