Gamers will have more options than ever before

Battlefield Hardline might have gone through an extensive open beta but the team at Visceral Games knows that gamers still need more info before launch in order to plan their approach to the first-person shooter, and they are now delivering more details on the strategy that each included class will entail.

The design choices that the studio is making are expected to deliver on the dynamic theme of the title and that's clearly visible in the way the Operator, the Medic from other installments in the franchise, will work, with gamers able to run up to him and push the interact button to get health rather than try to get his attention.

The class will also have a Survivalist gadget which allows him to get back up after being taken out by a car or explosion.

The Mechanic in Battlefield Hardline can both repair and sabotage enemies and he also has access to a grenade launcher to deliver firepower, as all classes are now able to get access to an RPG from the Battle Pickups.

The Enforcer is more versatile than the other classes as he can use a shotgun, bring more long-range firepower with a battle rifle or can simply use a riot shield to draw the attention of the enemy and try to keep his buddies safe.

The Professional is in charge of long-range kills but he can also use a camera to spot enemies, can create decoys and will be able to place laser-powered trip mines to make sure that his position is safe, while the Stealth gadget allows him to move undetected.

Battlefield Hardline aims for fast and balanced matches

Visceral Games needs to work overtime in order to make sure that Battlefield Hardline delivers a multiplayer experience that is equivalent to what DICE can create.

The company has already faced criticism for the fact that it is moving away from the military theme and for a perceived lack of differences between the two factions.

The open beta has generated some positive feedback from gamers but the title has also had some problems with the network infrastructure, especially on the PlayStation 4, which need to be eliminated before full launch.

Battlefield Hardline will be out on the Xbox One, the PS4, the PC and last-gen consoles on March 17 in the US and on March 19 in Europe.
