Video game developer Visceral Games and publisher Electronic Arts might be more than one week away from the actual launch date of Battlefield Hardline, but they are ready to deliver an official launch trailer for the first-person shooter, which is designed to introduce it to a wider audience who might not have kept up with the development process.

The official description states, "Get a piece of the action in the all-new, high speed Battlefield Hardline that brings you speed, strategy, and story."

The two-minute-long footage shows the cop versus criminals clearly and reveals some of the unique experiences that the title will be able to offer both in single and in multiplayer.

The song which accompanies the launch trailer of Battlefield Hardline is “I'm So Sorry,” created and performed by Imagine Dragons, and the choice is a solid one for the new title and its ambition to introduce a new take on the traditional mechanics of the series.

It's interesting to note that the launch trailer does not include any information about the Premium options that are offered for the shooter and it also lacks details about the performance it offers on the various platforms on which it launches.

Battlefield Hardline will be a better experience on the PC

Only recently the development team at Visceral Games has acknowledged that the title will run at a 720p resolution on the Xbox One and at 900p on the PlayStation 4, with the frame rate set to 60 on both platforms.

The studio has also explained that it will support the improved hardware that the PCs can incorporate and will deliver support for high-quality textures and for much higher resolutions.

Battlefield Hardline will not offer cross-platform play.

The new shooter is set to introduce a range of new experiences, with a focus on dynamism and on quick access to new items and weapons to customize the play style of each gamer.

Visceral Games says that players will be able to find a mode, either new or classic, which will satisfy their expectations and that the single player, which includes 10 episodes, is designed to appeal to those who love modern TV dramas.

Battlefield Hardline will be out on March 17 in the United States and on March 19 in Europe, with the gamers who subscribe to EA Access on the Xbox One able to play for a limited time starting on March 12.
