Video game developer Visceral Games and publisher Electronic Arts have already confirmed that they will add a wealth of new content to Battlefield Hardline in early June and it seems that the extra masks that gamers can obtain will be almost as interesting as the coming maps.

Perks are associated with the new looks that cops and criminals can use, and there are more options for gamers to customize their characters with.

The official announcement shows that the masks for the Criminals will be able to equip: Rabbit - +10% Gearhead XP bonus, Gorilla - +20% Rep XP bonus, Wolf - +10% Teamplay XP bonus, Dinosaur - +20% Quickdraw XP bonus.

For cops Battlefield Hardline will introduce helmets: Motorcycle - +10% Gearhead XP bonus, Tactical - +20% Rep XP bonus, Riot - +10% Teamplay XP bonus and Ballistic - +20% Quickdraw XP bonus.

Initially, all the content linked to Criminal Activity for Battlefield Hardline will only be offered to those who are subscribing to the Premium service for the shooter.

After two weeks, the entire players community will get access to it.

The four new maps in Criminal Activity are designed to focus on more dynamic and close quarters engagements and will ask gamers to come up with new tactics.

Gamers also get access to a new game mode and to more weapons around which they can base their strategies.

Battlefield Hardline also has an active Community Test Environment on the PC

Visceral Games has also set up a CTE for the first-person shooter on the PC, allowing interested Premium subscribers to download a new client in order to test the changes that will be introduced in the coming patches.

The studio has not yet said when a new major patch for Battlefield Hardline will be delivered and whether it is planning to focus on a general balance pass or will aim to eliminate potential issues that Criminal Activity introduces.

The cops versus criminals experience launched in March after a serious delay and was well received by the player community.

Visceral Games has long-term plans to support Hardline in the long term, with DLC and patches, while DICE focuses on launching Star Wars Battlefront and the creation of a new core entry in the Battlefield series.
