After a few leaks, DICE and Electronic Arts have officially confirmed that the Battlefield 4: Dragon's Teeth expansion will be released on July 15 for those who own the Battlefield 4 Premium bundle, and on July 29 for those who have only the standard version of the first-person shooter.

Battlefield 4 came out last October and, since then, developer DICE has tried really hard to eliminate the many problems that plagued the first-person shooter, while at the same time sticking to the DLC release schedule it promised to loyal fans who got the Battlefield 4 Premium bundle.

So far, quite a few new expansions have appeared, and the next one, dubbed Dragon's Teeth, is set to bring even more new things to the first-person shooter.

We've already heard a few details, but DICE has so far been silent on when the actual add-on might be released.

Fortunately, it's finally decided to confirm on the official website that Battlefield 4: Dragon's Teeth will appear on July 15 for Premium owners and on July 29 for the rest of the world.

"Get ready to take the battle to Asian Pacific’s dense, urban landscape with Battlefield 4 Dragon’s Teeth, the fourth expansion pack to Battlefield 4. Coming July 15 to Battlefield 4 Premium members, Dragon’s Teeth drops players into four all-new maps that introduce unique environments and gameplay ranging from the bustling alleyways of Pearl Market to the floating restaurant in the middle of a lake in Sunken Dragon."

A special description of the other things included in Dragon's Teeth was also revealed, highlighting new gadgets like the Ballistic shield or the fresh Chain Link multiplayer mode that brings a few new rules to the regular Conquest experience.

"Dragon’s Teeth sees five new weapons making their Battlefield debut in addition to a new unlockable gadget, the Ballistic shield. Dragon’s Teeth also introduces a new game mode, Chain Link, a twist on the fan-favorite Conquest mode that sees squads battle to link capture points in order to achieve victory. Fans will also get ten new assignments with unique unlocks and a new Battle pickup in the R.A.W.R., a remote controlled ground vehicle armed to the teeth."

The actual maps are centered around Asian locations that have been overrun by the Chinese military and aim at bringing quite a few new elements to the multiplayer mode. They're called Lumphini Garden, Pearl Market, Propaganda, and Sunken Dragon.

Expect to see new details about Dragon's Teeth appear ahead of its release next week for Premium owners.
