Warner Bros. is yet to announce the release of the real deal

We still have no word from Warner Bros. on when the first official look, be it teaser or trailer, at “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” might premiere. In the meantime, here’s something almost as good and definitely more hilarious: a fan-made trailer that has gone viral.

Made and uploaded by YouTube user Jacksfilms, the “trailer” shows the two superheroes, Batman and Superman, fighting like schoolboys and threatening to destroy each other but never really getting it done.

“Wonderful” Woman also makes an appearance, trying to be the voice of reason that gets them to cool down, but she’s not entirely successful. Or at least, she’s not as successful as she imagined she’d be.

Think of this fan-made trailer as something that a kid would come up with if you had him write the script for next year’s most anticipated release. Since the legit “Dawn of Justice” is still without an official synopsis, this is still better than nothing.

“Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be out in March 2016 and mark the first time these two superheroes share the big screen together. It will also be the first time Wonder(ful) Woman gets the big screen treatment, too.

Directed by Zack Snyder, it is the prolog for the Justice League franchise (not the sequel to “Man of Steel”), and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg and Jeremy Irons.
