A brand new video has appeared in which Batman: Arkham Origins developer Warner Bros. Montreal talks about the history of the franchise and how it hopes to live up to the high expectations created by Arkham City and Arkham Asylum, two titles that were made by Rocksteady Studios.

Batman: Arkham Origins is out later this year for a wide array of platforms and, for the first time in the series, the title isn't made by Rocksteady Studios, the developer who proved that the Caped Crusader can work in an interactive experience.

Instead, new studio Warner Bros. Montreal is the one creating the title, which is a sort of prequel in terms of story.

We heard plenty of details earlier this month and now a fresh video has appeared, showing members of the Warner Bros. Montreal team talk about the legacy and the history of the franchise and how they hope to live up to the benchmarks set by Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.

Sadly, no actual footage from Batman: Arkham Origins has been shown.
