Batman: Arkham Knight developer Rocksteady Studios has just kicked off a brand-new series of videos called Arkham Insider, through which it shares more information about the mechanics present in the upcoming action adventure experience.

Batman: Arkham Knight launches in June and developer Rocksteady is currently putting the finishing touches on the long-awaited game, so that fans of the long-running series can enjoy the title and encounter as few issues as possible when playing it on PC, PS4, or Xbox One.

An all-new series of videos shares quite a lot of great info

After sharing quite a few interesting videos and details in recent weeks, Rocksteady has just kicked off a fresh series of developer diary videos called Arkham Insider.

The first episode is already live and includes quite a lot of interesting information about Arkham Knight, as well as some interesting gameplay footage from the title.

First up, there's a breakdown of the All Who Follow You trailer that got revealed a few weeks ago. In it, Rocksteady's employees confirm some of the interesting features of the Dual Play mechanic that allows players to switch control between Batman, Robin, Nightwing, or Catwoman on the fly during both fight sequences as well as Predator moments.

What's more, the studio also confirms that besides regular thugs, players will have to face off against tanks commanded by the Arkham Knight villain, but also robots built by the Riddler who pose a tougher challenge in conjunction with his fiendish puzzles.

New mechanics get confirmed for Arkham Knight

Speaking of tanks, the studio confirms that they can be taken out without using the Batmobile, as Batman gains access to a weapon called the Disruptor, which messes with their firing mechanisms and causes a big explosion.

When entering combat by gliding into a pack of foes, players can quickfire batarangs, the batclaw, the explosive gel, and other gadgets to make things easier.

Players who prefer certain skins can equip them right from the get-go, as Arkham Knight no longer requires fans to complete the game once before being able to alter their appearance.

Last but not least, Rocksteady confirms that there are no loading screens while going from interior to exterior, so fans shouldn't worry about any waiting periods while playing the game.
