Rocksteady Studios, after deploying a large array of premium skins for Batman: Arkham City, has just confirmed that it’s released a free one, in the form of the Batman Incorporated outfit, alongside a cheat code that will allow you to use the alternate skin right from the start of the game.

Batman: Arkham City has impressed lots of gamers since its release a couple of months ago, and has received a steady stream of downloadable content since then, either in the form of new skins for The Dark Knight, or special bundles built around Robin or Nightwing.

Now, as a token of appreciation, the developer, Rocksteady Studios, has released a free Batman Incorporated outfit, based on Grant Morrison’s popular storyline for the comic book hero.

What’s more, in order to unlock it right away, without having to finish the regular game first, Rocksteady has also supplied players with a cheat code that can be entered on the Main Menu screen, right after you select a save slot.

The cheat code can be entered with the directional pad on any controller, on the PS3 or Xbox 360, although it’s not confirmed if it’s also possible with a keyboard on the PC.

Still, here’s the code: Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down. If you entered the code correctly, then an audio cue will be heard.

The Batman Inc. outfit should be available as a free download on the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live Marketplace, for the console editions of the game, or on the Games for Windows Marketplace, for the PC edition of the game.

We already praised Batman: Arkham City in our review of its PS3 version, and were even more impressed with the visual effects of the game’s PC edition, which has support for technologies like Nvidia’s PhysX or 3D Vision.
