The arrival of the Nook Tablet makes the other Nook devices cheaper

With the launch of the Nook Tablet out of the way, Barnes & Noble is now concentrating its efforts on the rest of the company's Nook range which is set to get some lower prices, so you can now pick up the Nook Color for $199 (€144).

While it certainly has lost some of its initial sparkle now that the Nook Tablet has been revealed, the Color is still a pretty good device for reading eBooks or enjoying some multimedia content, especially now that it has received Hulu Plus support.

Furthermore, the Color has exactly the same 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixel IPS display as the one used for the Nook Tablet, so from a this perspective there isn't that much difference between the two.

On the other hand, for just $50 (36 EUR) more you could get double the amount of storage, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, so I don't know why would anyone actually chose to go with the older tablet.
