As dumb as it may sound, this is what a hungry criminal did in a Citgo station in Newington, Connecticut. He repeatedly smashed his car into the shop's doors, broke the glass, got out of his car and took a banana off the shelf, notes Metro.
Without any effort to hide or run, the banana bandit actually began to eat his fruit in the station, right in front of a camera that caught him in the act. Even if the alarm was triggered, he calmly exited the store and fled the scene of the crime.
Police officers are now looking for the suspect that committed a rather bizarre crime, ruining the front doors of a petrol stationsjust to get his hands on a banana.
